As Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the organization, ensuring accurate and timely preparation, receipt and distribution of correspondence, reports, forms, presentations, and other documents as requested. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. We are looking for a reliable and professional individual who is capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties:
- Ensures accurate and timely preparation, receipt, and distribution of correspondence, reports, forms, presentations, and other documents as requested.
- Supports and works with all departments and cross functional teams for the benefit of the company as a whole.
- Facilitates interdepartmental communication of manufacturing objectives with managers at the site.
- Supports administrative needs of the production/operations/safety or other related functions.
- Attends daily production meeting and other related operations meetings throughout the week.
- Prepares month reports as needed
- Coordinates with HR plant-wide engagements – i.e., employee of the month, anniversary lunches, employee suggestion program.
- Maintains company memberships, subscriptions, corporate accounts, etc
- Arranges travel, hotel, and auto for local and/or divisional employees and guests, as requested.
- Coordinates company gifts/arrangements as needed (i.e. births, family deaths, illnesses)
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Experience:
- *Please note: medical office/CNA experience is not relevant to this position*
- Knowledge in use of PC, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet various deadlines.
- Interpersonal skills
- Proofreading skills; excellent spelling
- Data entry and typing
- Good interpersonal and strong organizational skills
- Timely, punctual, and motivated
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and stressful situations
