We are seeking a Church Secretary/Administrative Assistant in the West Chester area; 10- 12 hours per week, 3-4 days per week, in-person and remote. The Administrative Assistant is the first line of contact in the church office. We are seeking a warm inviting person who is a team player yet works well independently. This person needs to maintain strict confidentiality in all matters and demonstrate a high level of trust.
The Administrative Assistant job tasks include but are not limited to: answering phones and emails; creating weekly church bulletin and PowerPoint (for on-line hybrid), weekly emails and monthly newsletter, and annual reports; keeping the church calendar; managing membership rolls; managing volunteer lists (sign-up genius); administering UCCEG social media content on Facebook and Instagram; administering church website; helping with the administrative needs for church events.

Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Excel, PowerPoint), and have knowledge of Zoom, Dropbox, Google Suite, Signup Genius, Website CMS and Vertical Response/MailChimp.
- Utilize good communication, both oral and written.
- Dependable and self-motivated
- Social Media knowledge and experience a plus.
- Flexibility and willingness to work with whatever situation may arise a plus.
- Familiar with how non-profits function.
Salary: $15/hour + commensurate with experience
