Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk

Duties:
- Process and post customer payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare and send out invoices to customers
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues
- Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and interactions
- Generate reports on accounts receivable status as needed

Skills:
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proficient in double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Experience with journal entries and general ledger reconciliation
- Familiarity with accounting software such as ADP & Quickbooks.
- Knowledge of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
