Accounts Payable Specialist

Accountemps is currently anticipating the need for an Accounts Payable Specialist for our East Tucson client:

• Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers through careful analysis of invoices and expense reports
• Pay vendors, monitoring discount opportunities
• Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies
• Ensure credit is received for outstanding memos
• Handle stop-payments or purchase order amendments
• Pay employees by verifying expense reports and preparing checks
• Maintain confidentiality in all financial matters
• Continuously improve the payment process
• Reconcile processed work by comparing entries to system reports
