Accounts Payable Specialist, Chicago
Golin Chicago is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This role leads the charge in facilitating the vendor management process, including the relationships with the vendors, the vendor set up process, vendor maintenance, and the payment process. As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will also support systems, processes, and initiatives for the Production and Finance teams in our Corporate office and across all our offices in the US

What You'll Do:
Program Coordination:
- Streamline and ensure consistency in the onboarding process across Golin offices and brands in North America
- Reconcile vendor invoices, purchase orders, project expenses (as applicable).
- Audit vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance standards are met and coordinate with Client Accounting partner as necessary.
Procurement:
- Facilitate the vendor onboarding process from start to finish, while working with Range (Golin's vendor onboarding platform). This includes onboarding new vendors, freelancers, influencers and identifying any risks that require escalation.
- Responsible for ensuring tax treatment on invoices is managed effectively and properly.
- Provide regular status reporting on outstanding vendor set ups in Range.
Accounts Payable:
- Manage Corporate Office Accounts Payable Process.
- Support A/P process for local offices on an as needed basis.
- Regularly review parked/unresolved invoices and work with IPG Accounts Payable and local office to troubleshoot/resolve.
- Manage enterprise-wide vendors from a payment perspective to ensure that all required documents (e.g. Purchase Orders) and approvals are in place to ensure timely and accurate payments.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years' project management and/or procurement experience with a focus on compliance and Accounts Payable.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

- Proficiency in Excel and SAP preferred.

Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations.
Salary range:
$40,000 - $55,000
