Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to the evolving priorities of an early-stage biotech organization.
Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts Payable processes and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Process and reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Verify invoice details, including quantities, prices, and payment terms, and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding Accounts Payable transactions and provide timely and accurate information.
Collaborate with the Senior Director to address closing items and provide support as needed.
Utilize advanced skills in NetSuite to streamline Accounts Payable operations and maximize functionality.
Requirements:
Previous experience in scaling life sciences or biotech organizations.
Proficiency in NetSuite with advanced knowledge and comfort in utilizing its functionality.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
A proactive and "can-do" attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
