Responsibilities

• Ensure that all invoices are reviewed and processed with 98% accuracy.
• Understand, manage or support the weekly subcontractor check run process.
• Process daily emergency check requests.
• Set up wires and process stop payments with the bank.
• Set up and maintain vendors in the accounting system.
• Ensure transactions are timely and accurate.
• Reconcile balances and maintain records.
• Respond to vendor or internal inquiries and research to resolve concerns or discrepancies.
• Set the standards for delivering high customer service and lead by example.
• Perform work under limited supervision.
• Handle complex problems and refer more complex issues to higher level staff.
• Must possess a solid working knowledge of the subject matter.
• May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to Junior team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-7 years' experience working in a fast-paced Accounts Payable environment
• Construction industry experience helpful
• A bachelor's degree is required
• Strong working knowledge of Excel required
• Familiarity with CMiC preferred
• Familiarity with Textura preferred
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to identify and research necessary information
• Mathematical skills, clerical skills and accounting skills required
