About the Role
In your role as Account Payable Specialist, you will be required to carry out the following:
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Registration and coding of supplier Invoices
- Run weekly unapproved invoice report
- Creation of new suppliers
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Resolving any issues with supplier accounts
- Run month end purchase ledger account reconciliations
- Accounts payable duties for all branches across the Group
- Access and Reconcile bank statements daily
- Complete Payment runs in various banks - ACH, BACS, Foreign Payments
- Verifying bank account changes on existing accounts
- Process Direct debits and Standing orders
- Maintain Supplier accounts
- Ensure all ACH - W9 forms are collected from the new suppliers
- Run and Review Aged Creditors report monthly
- Liaising with other departments for any queries related to Accounts payable
In addition to the tasks and responsibilities listed, you may be required to perform other duties as assigned by your Manager.
Skills and Attributes
- Good word processing skills, experience of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle Confidential Information appropriately
- Flexibility and the ability to be a team player
