Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Corona
Shift: 7am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: $23-26 DOE
***Must have Manufacturing & Purchase Order Experience***
Job Duties:
Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks, and distribute checks accordingly
• Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Purchasing Agent duties
• Keep track of all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, and statements
• Prepares and submits PO by verifying specifications and price
• Secures approval from requisitioning department
• Manages PO by forwarding orders to suppliers and monitoring and expediting orders
• Verifies receipt of items by comparing items to order; resolves shipment errors with supplies
• Assist with other projects as needed
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to six years related experience and/or training; and understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
