CornerStone Staffing has an immediate need for an Accounting/HR Administrative assistant for a client in Grand Prairie, TX.

Job Title: Accounting/HR Administrative Assistant

Location: Grand Prairie, TX

Pay: $19-$20 / hr. (Based upon Experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Overview: In this dual role, you will assist with a variety of Accounting and Human Resources administration responsibilities in support of a growing staff of approximately 30 to 50 employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Functions:

    • Assist in the preparation of accounts receivable deposits and billing documentation.

    • Support semi-monthly payroll preparations, maintaining employee payroll records and tax submissions.

  • Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve billing issues with vendors and clients.

  • Assist with general ledger maintenance and month-end close processes.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

HR Functions:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, ensuring compliance with company policies.

    • Assist with new hire orientation, including the verification of complete and accurate documentation.

    • Handle HRIS database input and ensure the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files.

    • Assist in benefits reconciliation, employee terminations, and performance review processes.

    • Support special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, and employee recognition events.

    • Assists with new hire orientation functions including; verification of complete and accurate new hire documentation, creation of employee files.

General Administrative Functions:

  • Provide general administrative support to both the accounting and HR departments, including answering phones, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.

  • Assist with document preparation, filing, and record-keeping.

  • Coordinate office supplies and equipment maintenance as needed.

Qualifications:

  • REQUIRED previous experience as an Administrative Assistant, ideally with exposure to both HR and Accounting functions.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with QuickBooks

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
