Job Description
The Wind Facility Administrative Assistant will assume administrative support for assigned Scout’s operating projects. We expect this role to include the following duties, which may evolve as the needs of the portfolio evolve:
Coordinate Communications Between Various Parties
- Coordinate with Boulder team to make all warranty claims, including initiating and drafting these claims.
- Serve as liaison for all landowner issues and be the face for all walk-ins.
- Assist in preparing and updating daily safety toolbox topics with GE personnel.
Engage in Procurement Activities
- Establish and maintain initial inventory control.
- Assist in the purchase of safety supplies and other equipment.
- Identify preferred vendors and manage the interface.
Complete Duties that Ensure Compliance
- Manage ad hoc reporting requirements as needed.
- Assist in managing Committee in Foreign Investment in the US (CFIUS) compliance.
- Assist in CFIUS-related activities.
- Assist in reporting site safety incidents.
- Assist with monthly O&M building inspections (fire extinguishers, first aid kits, eye wash stations and defibrillators).
Manage General Administrative Duties
- Manage all archiving of documents.
- Greet all visitors and ensure sign-in procedures are followed.
- Assist in the distribution of all safety bulletins, TILs, etc.
- Manage dispatching through radio communication.
- Ensure office is presentable.
- Assume all administrative tasks when Facility Manager is in the field.
- Complete other small office management duties as needed.
- Complete related duties as they arise.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- At least one year of experience in an administrative or coordinator role
- Familiarity with MS Office suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience with collaborating on operational procedures.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational and deadline-driven time management skills
Timeline and Location
This position will begin as soon as possible, preferably in December 2023. In mid-December 2023 to early January 2024.
Candidates must be in a commutable distance to McCulloch County or would be willing to relocate to McCulloch County in order to be able to commute to the Wind Facility.

Benefits
Target compensation: $35,000 - $40,000 annual salary
