We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer incoming customer inquiries via phone and email
- Communicate with Suppliers, internal customers and Transportation Companies
- Check for pricing, lead time, and availability
- Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding products and services
- Make outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries or resolve issues
- Enter and maintain customer information in the database
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer needs are met
- Review customer purchase orders and enter sales orders
- Enter vendor purchase orders from time to time
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related field preferred
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English (multilingual/bilingual candidates preferred)
- Strong phone etiquette and active listening skills
- Proficient in data entry and computer navigation
- Ability to analyze situations and provide effective solutions
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging customer interactions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.28 - $20.47 per hour
