Job Title: Crane/HeavyEquipment Technical Support Representative

SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing technical troubleshooting assistance, parts look up assistance, and general after sales crane support for the entire Tadano product line to technicians, distributors, customers, and end users in the Tadano Pan Americas service region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide operator assistance for the various models for set up, configuration, and basic operation assistance via phone, email, text, or video chat.
- Provide technical part information and documentation for both internal and external customers.
- Provide technical troubleshooting assistance of hydraulic, electronic, pneumatic, mechanical, and powertrain systems, including component location, access, tear down, repair, reassembly, functions testing, proper tool use, and any health, safety, and environmental concerns that may arise during the scope of assistance via phone, email, text, or video chat.
- Serve as liaison for the company to help provide the technician, distributor, customer or end user with the needed information, goods, and services that Tadano provides across all models.
- Assist parts administration staff with programming of components for delivery to the technician, distributor, customer, or end user.
- Participate in groups, meetings, and training sessions in order to ensure top tier customer service is being provided.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 5 year minimum of relevant experience in hydraulic, electronic, pneumatic, mechanical, and powertrain systems
- 1-3 years of customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electric, and pneumatic schematics, ideally with prior knowledge of DIN, ISO, SAE, and JIS standards.
- Some travel required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with a wide variety of individuals who have inquiries about crane parts. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
