Description
The Warranty Administrator is responsible for all warranty claims from work order management to the submittal of the claim to our manufacturers. The Warranty Administrator oversees the warranty process, prepares records, submits warranty claims to the manufacturer, and reconciles claims accordingly. Assist with clearing credit memos and data analysis with warranty claims.
Warranty Administrator to manage our warranty claims. In this role, you will discuss the order and expectations with the business units, prepare warranty documents, submit paperwork to the manufacturer, and track requests to ensure the warranty claim is paid for all warranty work done.
Duties and responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and audit warranty claims for accurate processing to meet the manufacturer requirements listed in the warranty guidelines.
- Responsible for all tasks associated with the review and payment of warranty claims, which includes a technical analysis to ensure compliance with the established Warranty Policies and Procedures.
- Tracks credits by using the appropriate vendor codes to ensure that business units receive a dispersal of credits.
- Maintain warranty files, monitor service history, and keep an accurate record of paid claims.
- Maintain and update data analysis reports for open and closed warranty claims.
- Accountable for all warranty claims and reworks in the Sysaid system.
- Stay up to date on manufacturer's training and maintain warranty certifications.
- Work with business units on warranty procedures and training
- Answer warranty questions from internal and external customers and involve management when needed.
- Administer WIP (work in progress) and verify no claims are aged out and at non-payment risk.
- Collaborate with the warranty specialist and/or technical services to ensure all warranty claims are accurate and processed timely.
- Develop strong relationships with our manufacturers regarding all warranty processes /procedures and keep the business units updated on the warranty claim progress.
- Prepare and process warranty documentation according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Investigating and diagnosing problems to determine whether they are covered by warranty.
- Oversee the processing, reporting, and satisfactory resolution of all warranty claims.
- Prioritize workflow and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Working Conditions
- Typical hours of work Monday -Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Weekend hours/after normal hours may be required to manage the workload.
- Office indoor work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
