KJO Media is on the lookout for a talented Camera Operator and Editor to join our team. This role would work closely with Project Managers and our Creative Director going on shoots and editing videos for a wide variety of clients. The perfect candidate would have a great eye for composition, understanding of best practices for lighting and audio, and exceptional storytelling skills.
Specific Responsibilities
- Work alongside our Project Managers and Creative Director to shoot and edit finished videos
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects experience is a big plus
- Strong attention to detail, specifically in following a creative brief or working through client feedback
- Understanding of how to properly light and mic and interview subject.
- Ability to travel for shoots out of town including multiple day shoots.
- Must live near Kansas City Metro and work on-site at our office location. This will NOT be a remote position.

- College degree in media related field or demonstrated experience
- Highly organized individual. This position requires a high degree of attention to detail for success
- Portfolio or relevant work you have created or been a part of
- Driven nature, willing to learn and grow, and take criticism well
- Willing go the extra mile to make content the best it can be, no matter the subject
