Forming part of the Biotechnology segment at Danaher, we bring together dedicated technical expertise and talent to develop the next generation of life-changing therapeutics. TheSourcing Director, Global Director Operations for Cytiva is responsible for accelerating supplier performance in key areas for Cytiva from Cost, Delivery and Security perspective.
This position is part of the Global Sourcing Organization and will be a fully remote position. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and lead a large global sourcing team in charge of driving supplier performance from cost, delivery and security of supply perspective.
- Strengthen existing Sourcing Security of Supply organization and partner with commercial sourcing team to proactively protect Cytiva’s supply-chain.
- Revamp existing Supplier Delivery organization to develop global reach/global impact across Cytiva and strategic deployment of DBS tools at supplier.
- Develop Cost Execution team for direct sourcing, including both project management and R&D resources to support, strengthen and accelerate Cost out roadmap across Cytiva
- Partner with BU/OpCo Sourcing Director on identifying and resourcing key strategic projects for Cytiva on supplier performance
- Develop strong partnership with key R&D leaders in OpCo/BU to strategically deploy right resources in right areas.
- Leverage full extent of DBS tools to build robust DM/VM across Direct Ops and broader sourcing organization.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- BS or MS degree or other advanced degree in Business Administration, Economics, Purchasing, Sourcing or Engineering.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Sourcing or Operations
- 5+ year of experience in leadership with team of direct reports, and experience leading global associates.
- Proven presentation and communication skills for adept collaboration with remote personnel.
- Strong initiative taker, self starter who can works effectively with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated project management and process improvement skills

The salary range for this role is $155,000-175,000 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
