Veterinary Receptionist

Village Square Veterinary Hospital is searching for a Receptionist to join our Portola Valley team. Our ideal candidate would have excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with existing veterinary experience, or for someone who is interested in working with animals and starting a career in veterinary medicine. This is a full-time position consisting of five 8-hour shifts weekly, Monday-Friday.

Some of the responsibilities for this role:

• Client service and communication
• Welcoming and discharging patients
• Managing phone lines
• Booking appointments
• Setting up new clients and patients
• Over-the-counter sales and financial transactions
• Resolving client disputes
• General front desk duties (email, faxing, filing, etc.)
• General hospital cleaning
• Assisting medical staff with patient handling and restraint
• Filling medications
• Monitoring hospital flow

Full-time benefits:

• Compensation: $19.00 - $24.00/hour, based on experience and skillset.
