Veterinary Receptionist

Above and Beyond Animal Care is looking for a Receptionist to join our team! We are looking for reliable and motivated team players who are interested in starting/advancing their careers in veterinary medicine.

This is a full-time position scheduled Monday-Friday.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Team player with exceptional communication skills
• Detail-oriented with great organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
• Positive and friendly individual who enjoys connecting others and teammates
• Must be comfortable around small and large animals (mixed animal experience is a plus!)
• Extra consideration will be given to candidates with veterinary experience; however we’re open to training those with solid customer service/animal care backgrounds
• Working knowledge of Cornerstone is a plus!

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Client service and communication
• Welcoming and discharging patients
• Managing phone lines
• Booking appointments
• Setting up accounts for new clients
• Over the counter sales and financial transactions
• Pharmacy duties
• General office duties including email, filing, faxing
• General hospital cleaning

Full-Time Benefits and Compensation:

• $17.00 - $18.50/hour depending on experience
