Dr. Nick Faber of Animal Vision Center is a veterinary ophthalmologist who has been practicing in the Sacramento area for over 25 years.

This is a solo practitioner practice with predictable work hours.

Work hours are generally from 7:30 to 4PM Monday-Friday.

Starting salary ($20-25/hr.) is commensurate with experience. Full-time benefits include Health insurance, 401K retirement plan, paid vacation, sick leave, pet health discounts.

The candidate must be comfortable working with computer softwares, of outstanding moral character, a good communicator, able to think critically and attentive to detail.

We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and their pets. Your primary responsibility will be to greet clients, schedule appointments, and assist with administrative tasks.

Duties:
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries
- Check-in and check-out clients, ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Collect payments for services rendered
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Assist with filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other staff members
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and empathetic towards animals and their owners
