We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our Human Resources team as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator.
Job Description
Foundation Building Materials is seeking a talented and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator. As the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Talent Acquisition Manager in all aspects of the recruitment process. From sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and facilitating the onboarding process, you will be instrumental in helping to build a high-performing team.
Responsibilities

  • Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial screenings as directed by the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and logistics, including booking meeting rooms, arranging video conferences via Microsoft Teams, and communicating with candidates and interviewers using a variety of sources, including, telephone, text message and email.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records using Ceridian Dayforce as the applicant tracking system (ATS) of record and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of job offer letters and other related documentation.
  • Initiate the pre-employment background check and drug screen processes, where applicable.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including completing background checks, coordinating training sessions, and ensuring all required paperwork is completed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and provide timely communication and updates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Team with various administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing reports under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and team members to identify recruitment needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in Talent Acquisition to continuously improve recruitment processes and procedures.
  • Uphold the company's values and culture while representing Foundation Building Materials in a professional and positive manner.
  • Ensure compliance for the Home Office and Branch Locations with all Federal, State and/or Local regulatory employment postings and I-9 / Work Visa status.
  • Partner with the Human Resources Analyst to compile the data required for various Talent Acquisition Reports to include Funnel Reporting, Time to Fill, Candidate Status, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Manager.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in Talent Acquisition, recruitment coordination, or human resources administration is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach to candidate engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
