The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will support the Talent Acquisition department. This is an opportunity for someone to gain hands-on experience within our fast-paced Recruitment team and have a global view into the process of bringing on talent to Sony Pictures Animation. This position will report to the Executive Director of Talent Acquisition.
Sony Pictures Animation is an animation studio based in Culver City, California, creating both feature animation and animated series with artists from around the world. Responsibilities:
- Supports the Talent Acquisition department in various aspects of production crewing including scheduling meetings with hiring managers, preparing agendas, and distributing detailed and thorough notes after the meetings
- Works with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and Executives in scheduling on-site and video conference interviews (both local and international candidates) using Google Calendar
- Works with candidates, ensuring a positive process for scheduling and interviews
- Provides all necessary interview details to candidates including interview schedule, job description, detailed directions, and information about the logistics of the interviews
- Provide administrative support which includes but is not limited to tracking candidate records, maintenance of department files and creating and maintaining reports
- Organize Recruiting events and attend job fairs/conventions as needed
- In partnership with the Manager of Recruitment, support University Relations efforts which may include preparing for, attending, and presenting at school events
- In partnership with the Recruiters, support Talent Acquisition online hiring presence which may include upkeeping social media accounts and data analytics, assist with creating social media assets, organizing meetings between Talent Acquisition and PR, and tracking and flagging upcoming social media needs
- Handle special projects as required

- Strong digital literacy (Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Keynote & Photoshop)
- Must demonstrate strong proficiency in grammar and spelling, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels in the Company
- Must demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize, ensuring all assignments are completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Must be a self-starter and self-motivated with the ability to anticipate needs
- Must be a team player who is self-motivated, and results oriented
- Must have the ability to follow through with tasks with little direction in order to meet target deadlines
- Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions
- MAC proficient
- 1 to 2 years of experience working in Production, preferably in an animation environment or related field (internships included)
- Background or strong interest in Recruiting
The anticipated base salary for this position is $22/hour to $26/hour. This role may also qualify for incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
