Danfoss in Eden Prairie, MN is searching for a Finance Intern. The Finance intern will be responsible for assisting the Plant Controller, Segment Finance and GS Finance team in the Eden Prairie Factory with filling daily and weekly reports and ad-hoc site & Headquarters inquires that may be helping calculate variances, pulling reports, submitting new costs for parts, checking parents of child parts, supporting physical inventory counting, helping audits, etc.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Prepare report to depict the productivity of the prior work day as well as key controlling and financial performance metrics: sales, inventory, absorption, OTD, past dues, and MRO, all go into the process.
- Ad-hoc inquiries that may be helping calculate variances, pulling reports, submitting new costs for parts, checking parents of child parts, etc.
- Support filings.
- Support on Miscellaneous Manual Journal entries based on standardize processes.
- Support on the annual physical count and fixed asset observations.
- Support external and internal audit

- Availability to work full-time during Summer 2024, and part-time during the Fall/Spring semesters (remote or hybrid options available during semesters).
