This position is located in ARC/Human Resources Operations Division/Leave Administration Branch. As a Supervisory HR Specialist, you will serve as Branch Manager planning, directing, and controlling branch activities. You will serve as a technical expert and advisor to the division director, senior management, and franchise customers.
Qualifications: You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes managing work while overseeing and delivering products and services in order to fulfill service agreements of an organization. This experience must include at least three of the following:
- Evaluating programs and processes to identify best practices, trends, strengths, and areas of needed improvement OR
- Resolving complex issues OR
- Developing and implementing strategic goals and direction OR
- Providing consultative support to management officials OR
- Planning and overseeing work.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
