- Professional experience with providing direct social services to individuals with disabilities.
- Knowledge, ability and desire to work in partnership with persons with disabilities.
- Ability to work with transition age youth.
- Coordination experience and familiarity with community services available for persons with disabilities.
- Ability to relate to a diverse set of situations and individuals.
- Ability to interact in a team environment with consumers and coworkers in a professional manner, and with integrity and respect.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively organize work and multiple projects with competing deadlines to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and personal commitment to the Department’s mission, goals, programs, and policies.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
- Ability to develop reports using AWARE, EXCEL, and other software programs to assist staff to manage performance.
