Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper

C York CPA, PC is a small well-established New York City CPA firm that is looking for a self-motivated STAFF ACCOUNTANT/BOOKKEEPER to join our fast-paced, public accounting practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping.

Job responsibilities:

· Bookkeeping up to the general ledger.

· Bank reconciliations, payroll and sales taxes.

. Billing, accounts receivable and payable.

· Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

· Knowledge and proficiency in Quickbooks (Desktop and Online) is a plus.

. Tax return preparation of all types of taxes (individual, business, estate and trust taxes)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
