Bookkeeper/billing clerk

```Job Summary```
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join our team. The Billing Clerk will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, maintaining billing records, and assisting with financial report writing. The ideal candidate has a strong background in general ledger accounting, public accounting, and is proficient in accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.

```Duties```
- Process invoices and ensure accuracy of billing information
- Maintain billing records and update customer accounts as needed
- Assist with financial report writing and analysis
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies
- Prepare and distribute customer statements
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Handle payroll-related tasks as assigned

```Experience```
- Proven experience in general ledger accounting or public accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
- Strong knowledge of financial report writing and analysis
- Familiarity with technical accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
