The Cary Company is seeking a candidate to assist our Logistics team in Oakland, CA. The hours for this role are M-F 6:00a-2:30p.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Use innovation and creativity in developing new processes and procedures
- Manage BOLS, pick tickets, and any additional documents for LTL, TL, and container shipments
- Create Item fulfillments and process paperwork for shipping.
- Greet, check in and direct drivers
- Schedule and monitor carrier pickups
- Order checking to ensure all orders ship out accurately
- Generate receiving labels for inbound shipments
- Inbound receiving system input, documentation, product inspection, item identification, labeling, and put away.
- Assist with work orders
- File, store, mark orders shipped and manage paperwork.
- Work directly with warehouse management to assist and support
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Assist in daily cycle count
- Interface with couriers, office personnel and management in response to requests or to ensure service commitments are met
- Receiving PO’s
- Answering phones
- Counting inventory and making adjustments

- Show strong follow-up skills, attention to detail, and time management
- Be self-directed and detail-oriented with an inquisitive nature and desire to solve problems
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills
- Sound knowledge about logistics
- Strong knowledge about warehouse functions
