Summary
The Accounting Clerk is primarily responsible for providing accounting support and performing accounting and clerical functions to the Accounts Receivable Department. Fast paced position with layered responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Print invoices daily
- Send Paypal links to customers for credit card payments as requested.
- Review invoices for customer accounts to approve matching invoices and advise of discrepancies to the collectors that work on these accounts.
- Performs other accounting duties as requested by the Accounting Supervisor.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus
- Previous accounting experience is a plus
- Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Typing Skills (i.e. 40wpm & 7500 ten key)
