Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Treasurer to oversee our company's financial activities and manage the organization's liquidity, investments, and financial risks. The Treasurer will play a crucial role in maintaining financial stability, optimizing cash flow, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and preparing and adhering to bank covenants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to make informed financial decisions.
1.Cash Management:
- Monitor daily cash balances and forecast future cash needs.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow.
2.Investment Management:
- Manage the company's investment portfolio.
- Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities to maximize returns while minimizing risks.
3.Financial Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the company's financial interests.
4.Banking Relationships:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Negotiate banking services and fees to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Experience in a multi-currency environment.
- Manage foreign currency exposure and foreign currency payments.
- Monitor company’s USD exposure, develop hedging strategy, work with FX exchange services.
5.Capital Planning:
- Develop and manage capital planning strategies.
- Assess capital requirements and provide recommendations for optimal utilization.
6.Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Prepare and ensure compliance with bank covenants.
7.Reporting:
- Prepare regular financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive cash flow model.
8.Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Contribute to the budgeting process by providing financial insights and projections.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with financial goals.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Treasurer or in a similar financial role.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and risk management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
- Experience in a multi-currency environment.
- Understanding and experience of treasury accounting including FX.
- Ability to develop and maintain a comprehensive cash flow model.
- Experience in managing capital planning.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
