Description:
The Senior Financial Analyst position is responsible for analyzing financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the organization.
Working Conditions:
Working conditions are of a professional office environment. Administrative personnel may require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, and hardhats.
1. Qualifications:
1.1. Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
1.2. Thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP.
1.3. Knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics and SAP preferred), Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new software applications.
1.4. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
1.5. Experience with multi-plant consolidations and reporting packages.
1.6. Strong communication skills; capable of presenting complex financial information in an easy-to understand format.
1.7. Must organize/prioritize work, manage multiple tasks and projects and function effectively as a team member.
2. Responsibilities:
2.1. Ensure financial transactions are properly recorded in the correct period
2.2. Hiring, training, mentoring, and assisting in the management of finance professionals
2.3. Develop and maintain consolidated reporting package for newly formed US holding company.
2.4. Participate in ERP system selection and implementation.
2.5. Implementing financial reporting and internal controls across all US manufacturing locations.
2.6. Lead and coordinate the month-end accounting close.
2.7. Lead, review, and prepare (if necessary) monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Performance packages
2.8. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
3. Activities:
3.1. Work with finance professionals and cross functional team members to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
3.2. Facilitate the completion of the yearly audit and tax returns with the help of outside accountants
3.3. Supports management planning and decision making by identifying, maintaining, and evaluating information; recommending actions.
3.4. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties as assigned.
3.5. Other duties as assigned.
4. Authority and Obligation:
4.1. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
