Senior Accountant Financial Analyst

Are you a seasoned financial professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic environment? ECHO AFC Transportation is currently seeking a Senior Account/Reporting Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in our financial operations. As a key member, you will be responsible for various aspects of reporting, general ledger management, intercompany allocations, and data analysis.

While this role offers remote work flexibility, the individual must be available for occasional in-person meetings, especially in the first 90 days of introductory period.

Ideal candidate will reside close to proximity to Dallas or Houston.

Key Qualification:

• Power BI Expertise: Proficiency in Power BI is essential for this role to effectively analyze and visualize financial data.
• Advanced Excel Skills: Strong command of Excel, including pivot tables, power query, and advanced formulas. Familiarity with macros is a plus.
• General Ledger Management: Experience with managing general ledger entries, month end closing, and financial reporting.
• Multi-location Company Experience: Demonstrated success in multi-company environment, understanding the complexities involved.
• Intercompany Allocations: Solid background in managing intercompany allocations and cost center management.
• Financial Analysis: Proficient in financial reporting, data analysis, and financial analysis techniques.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain General Ledger: Execute recurring journal entries to ensure accuracy and completeness of the general ledger
• Assist in Month-End-Closing: Collaborate with the team to facilitate the month-end closing process and prepare financial reports.
• Manage Intercompany Allocations: Oversee and update intercompany allocations to ensure proper allocation of expenses and revenues.
• Power BI Dashboard Management: Maintain and enhance existing Power BI dashboards while also designing new ones to meet evolving business needs.
• AD Hoc Reporting: Generate ad hoc reports as requested by management to support decision-making processes.
• Enhance Reporting Processes: Utilize technological tools such as Excel, Power Query, and Power BI to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
