WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Fors Marsh is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to manage contracts within the federal health space. This individual would work in the Public Health Campaigns within the Strategic Creative & Communications business area. This job is best suited for an individual who has project management and client service experience, and who has managed health-related creative communications contracts for the federal government. Experience managing campaigns and working with several departments (research, creative, media) is preferred.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leads communications projects or small contracts in the areas of content development, digital marketing, stakeholder engagement and outreach, public relations (PR), and social media.
  • Owns project task areas and drives the team toward strategy and deliverables for that task area in alignment with the goals of broader team and client objectives.
  • Brings smart thinking and experienced project management to support client goals and project objectives using sound strategies and integrated solutions.
  • Works collaboratively with team members and across the company to develop strong partnerships with clients, agency teams, and resources.
  • Authors strategic plans and briefs, leveraging templates and best-practice documentation for client deliverables.
  • Manages and mentors junior staff.
  • Leads the development of designed materials (e.g., templates, social graphics, brochures) and content (e.g., FAQs, PowerPoint slides, website copy).
  • Provides feedback on drafts and quality control of materials.
  • Independently identifies project barriers and brings creative solutions to the table to move the project forward.
  • Provides support for business development efforts, including writing for proposals.
  • Conducts client presentations and articulates strategies, recommendations, and next steps.
  • Is accountable for own actions and takes ownership of team performance and client results.
  • Has the ability to author thought leadership pieces, weaving in data, analysis, and insight.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of eight years of experience in advertising, marketing, or communications in an advertising agency or similar services firm.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in marketing, communication, business, or related disciplines.
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Track record of developing partnerships to advance campaign objectives.
  • Proven success managing and delivering campaigns with a data-driven approach, and general experience applying those capabilities within different web environments, such as content management systems (Wordpress, Sharepoint, Box), marketing automation systems (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, GovDelivery), project management (Asana, Jira) and social media platforms (Meta, Twitter, LinkedIn).
  • Experience with monitoring and evaluation of campaigns, including Meltwater or Cision.
  • Applicants may be subject to a low-level government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to sensitive information.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to our federal contract requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with federal government (ideally health) clients.
  • Subject matter expertise in the field of drug overdose prevention and/or substance use disorder.
  • Very experienced with project management.
  • Experience with client management.
  • Agency experience and experience working with a variety of departments (research, creative, media).

Salary: $90,000 - $118,000

Location: Remote, United States Residents only
