Senior Account Executive - Consumer And Lifestyle Team La

DKC Los Angeles is in search of a confident, passionate + dynamic Senior Account Executive to work in either our Los Angeles or New York office.  The ideal candidate to join our growing Consumer practice is strategic, creative and proactive. The new team member will help execute innovative integrated campaigns anchored in creative storytelling. The position requires close collaborative effort with a bi-coastal team.
We want a driven and talented PR pro with an established and growing network of media/influencer contacts who brings a solid track record of generating impactful earned media placements.   The Senior Account Executive will deliver quality work in sync with client brand, campaign strategy to achieve desired results.
Qualifications/Skills/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree, Communications or Journalism ideal
• 3-5 years relevant PR agency or in-house communications expertise with consumer lifestyle brand clients across luxury, travel/hospitality, food, beauty, fashion, spirits, home + toys
• Experience in thought-leadership i.e. speaking opportunities, power lists + newsjacking a plus
• Strength executing client programs, including developing and editing press materials
• A history of creative storytelling success pitching + securing coverage of client campaigns, products, launches, events, partnerships, philanthropic endeavors and/or services - shown to think outside-the-box
• Proven ability to develop + maintain strong relationships with media/influencers + industry insiders
• In-sync with pop culture trends + calendar
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment + manage multiple deadlines/tasks
• Solid connector (social publicist) who appreciates the tremendous value + opportunities of networking
• Self-starter and self-motivated candidate who is eager to learn and grow in this career
• This is not a remote work opportunity; DKC operates on a hybrid weekly schedule (3 days in-office / 2 days WFH). 

Our office has a hybrid work model: in office 3 days a week, working remote 2 days a week.
The salary range for this role is commensurate with experience: $65k - $80k.
