Your Impact at Porter
In this position, you will be accountable for the engineering and configuration of the Salesforce platform. This will include the configuration and creation of custom objects, the configuration of Salesforce Lightning screens, inbound and outbound APIs, and the configuration and support of Amazon Connect for inbound and outbound calling. In this role, a deep understanding of the product and underlying technology will be required to develop enterprise-scale features. This team member will collaborate across the product and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical specifications, configuration, development, and implementation.
You will work with the product teams to resolve issues and effectively communicate the status and results with clients, partners, and consumers. This role will also be accountable for monitoring the availability, performance, and functionality of products and product integrations. You will:
- Be accountable for the management of the Development, QA, and Production Salesforce environments.
- Manage the configuration of Salesforce components, including email templates, surveys, and event triggers.
- Manage the inbound and outbound call flows, phone number registration process, voicemail capture, call recordings, and greetings.
- Manage the development of Salesforce inbound and outbound APIs.
- Be Accountable for the development of Lightning UI and Custom Objects.
- Establish real-time monitoring and alerting capabilities that support Porter's Service Level Agreements.
- Communicate product health statistics, including availability, performance, and incidents, on a regular frequency.
What You’ll Need to Make Your Impact
- 2-3 years of experience in the development and configuration of Salesforce.
- 2-3 years of experience working as a member of an engineering team.
- Ability to translate user requirements into technical specifications.
- Strong willingness to learn.
- Ability to analyze and problem-solve.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Location
This is a fully remote position with occasional travel for team building and strategic planning. To work from home, you must have a strong internet connection, a quiet space to take calls, and a distraction-free environment.
