Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the full-time position of Salesforce Admin/DevOps in Tempe, AZ.

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsible for contributing toward the success of our CRM strategy; supporting the user provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud; participating in the design configuration, problem diagnosis, maintenance, and installation of enterprise software and/or user group profiles; validating system functionality after changes; participating in testing and installing new software releases and application system upgrades; analyzing, monitoring, and fine-tuning the application system to achieve optimum performance levels; working with internal infrastructure teams and vendors to resolve issues with hardware and software; maintaining a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation to ensure data integrity; participating with application system problem resolution by working with application developers, vendors and internal infrastructure team members to troubleshoot; and be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles. Responsible for providing ongoing production support to salesforce platform including user provisioning, configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com platform; performing release management, automations and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce development including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Communities; gathering user feedback and maintaining software and tools to support building, deploying, and monitoring applications; documenting, triaging and handling production bugs and fixes; performing administrative tasks and ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices; creating and maintaining system documentation; embracing emerging technology opportunities and contributing to the best practices in support of the bank's CRM strategy. Use the following technologies to perform the duties of the position: Agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles; Salesforce solution design employing both programmatic and out-of-the-box features; Salesforce technical design encompassing Apex, Lightning Aura, LWC, and Visualforce Page development; Sales Cloud; Service Cloud; Knowledge Management involving Article Migration and Knowledge Centered Support; Content Management; Integration Patterns spanning Realtime and Batch approaches; ETL tools including Informatica and Apache NiFi; Data Migration; Data modeling; Analytics including Business Intelligence and Event Monitoring; Technical Governance entailing DevOps practices, CI/CD, Branching Strategy, and SFDX; Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technology and 5 years (progressive, post-baccalaureate) software development experience.

Required Skills/Experience:

Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) Delivering continuous production support to the Salesforce Platform, including: user provisioning, Sandbox refresh, data masking, data scrubbing, managing SSO/Platform Encryption Shield certificates, investigating production issues, conducting root cause analysis, resolving issues, and managing Salesforce releases via an automated CI/CD Jenkins pipeline. (2) Using the following technologies for executing the responsibilities of the role: Agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles; Salesforce solution design employing both programmatic and out-of-the-box features; Salesforce technical design encompassing Apex, Lightning Aura, LWC, and Visualforce Page development; Sales Cloud; Service Cloud; Knowledge Management involving Article Migration and Knowledge Centered Support; Content Management; Integration Patterns spanning Realtime and Batch approaches; ETL tools including Informatica and Apache NiFi; Data Migration; Data modeling; Analytics including Business Intelligence and Event Monitoring; Technical Governance entailing DevOps practices, Branching Strategy, and SFDX; Agile and Waterfall methodologies. (3) Configuring and customizing the Salesforce.com platform for a bank or financial institution. (4) Experience in constructing and upkeeping CI/CD pipelines tailored specifically for Salesforce applications. Performing release management and automations for Salesforce development including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Communities. (5) Orchestrating the release process for Salesforce applications, and ensuring seamless deployments. (6) Implementing version control best practices and using Git to monitor and govern changes to Salesforce code and configurations. (7) Using security best practices essential to the Salesforce platform, encompassing data security, access controls, and compliance. Conducting regular health assessments of the Salesforce environment through the utilization of out-of-the-box monitoring tools and techniques designed to monitor the well-being and performance of Salesforce applications. Must have the following certification: Salesforce Certified Administrator. Experience may be gained concurrently.

Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $143,416 - $157,757.60.
