Our Client is seeking a Sales Support Specialist for their label printing and equipment sales business located near the Cypress area in northwest Houston, TX. This is a multi-million dollar company experiencing double digit growth year over year. They are a value-added reseller and full-service distributor of short-run digital label printing equipment and has been in operation for over 20 years.
* This is an in-office position: no hybrid or remote work
** The compensation for this position is $55-$65,000 per year depending on experience

Position Responsibilities

The overarching responsibility of this position is to support the sales teams with lead management, customer service and general office support of the company.
- Respond to live chat (leads) inquiries in a timely, almost immediate manner
- Respond to email lead inquiries
- Monitor and distribute sales leads to the sales team
- Promptly answer preliminary, general sales questions for equipment sales, blank label sales, and supply sales (example: “if I place this order now, will this ship today?”)
- Enthusiastically greet and provide necessary information to office guests and direct them to the proper team member or location in the office.
- Create a welcoming office environment for all team members and visitors
- Be punctual and dependable, ensuring the front desk is staffed at all times
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct the calls to appropriate parties
- Keep the office, breakroom and other common areas neat and tidy
- Order office supplies, as needed
- Process incoming mail and distribute to appropriate team members
- Provide general administrative and clerical support such as photocopying, filing, scanning, and emailing necessary items
- Support the Order Fulfillment, Warehouse, and Operations teams with orders, logistics and ordering inventory, as needed
- Set up conference room for meetings, lunches, etc.
- Assist with planning and executing any company events (holiday lunches, team building events, etc.)
- Provide general administrative support to the company owner, as needed
Education, Skills and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service role
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish, preferred but not required
- Ability to confidently navigate MacOS, required
- Must be extremely comfortable operating on a computer, including advanced typing speed (at least 55 words per minute), toggling between multiple screens and open items, using keyboard shortcuts for efficiencies, etc.
- Experience using Office Applications in Google Workspace such as Google Docs and Google Sheets
- Ability to maintain a high energy, positive attitude
- Friendly and people-oriented personality – enjoys interacting with people
- Enjoys handling routine or repetitive tasks and working independently
- Experience with lead management, preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills with clearly articulate and professional grammar (verbal and written)
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain order in the office
- Problem-solving mentality to handle issues as they arise
- Ability to remain focused with numerous interruptions throughout the day
- Ability to arrive on-time each day (M–F) at the company office located in Cypress, 77095
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
- Climate controlled office environment
- Extended periods of time working at a computer and on the phone
- Must be able to sit at a desk for the majority of an 8 hour working day
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs., periodically
- Must be able to comfortably and independently stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and lift items
- Must be willing to consent to the company’s standard background check and drug screening
