The Sales Account Manager oversees various Clients and project activities to maintain and build relationships and secure opportunities. Builds existing and new relationships with all clients with on-site visits, team building events, regular communications, collect all feedback, stay consistent, anticipate all customer needs, social media engagement and continue to provide value to clients. This role requires a mix of communication skills, strategic thinking and a knack for problem solving.
Basic Responsibilities
· Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with OEM, Tier-1 and other clients, understanding their needs and ensuring complete satisfaction.
· Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets of $20M in new sales annually, considering market trends and competitor activities.
· Product/Process knowledge: Stay on top of automotive and manufacturing industry trends, technological advancements, and product knowledge to effectively communicate the value proposition to all clients.
· Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development and customer service to ensure a cohesive approach to client needs.
· Quota Management: Set realistic sales targets, monitor progress through weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual KPI’s to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales quotas.
· Market Analysis: Analyze market and customer trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting the sales approach accordingly.
· Negotiations: Lead negotiations with clients, addressing concerns, and closing deals in a way that aligns with both customer satisfaction and company profitability.
· Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and future strategies to upper management
Skills/Knowledge

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
· Understanding of sales performance metrics
· Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.
· Excellent understanding of the automotive manufacturing landscape and its current trends.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels.
· Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
· Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
· Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
