Serving three primary markets - passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment - Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.
The Candidate will work closely with the Program Director and Project Manager to complete Program Management activities for the Dana Connected/Digital Transformation initiatives, our Operational Excellence Team.
- Assist Project Manager with document management and project scheduling.
- Support Project Initiation and Project Closure activities
- Coordinate with IT and Program Team to build modern program website and repository.
- Attend Weekly meetings, publish minutes / tasks, follow up on open issues with team members.
- Work with PM and Ops. Excellence Leads on Organizational Change Management activities.
- Identify and communicate process deficiencies to the PM and Program Director
- Identify program risks and help establish suitable contingency plans with the team.
- Support cross-functional communication for project-timing as determined by Program Team
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Job Qualifications and Preferences
- Computer proficiency in a Windows environment utilizing Microsoft Office
- Team Oriented candidate with problem solving and analytical experience.
- Candidate must have a passion for Program Management.
- Familiar with and capable of maintaining robust communication with virtual teams.
- Must be capable of performing duties with limited supervision.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Self-directed and motivated individual with excellent organizational skills; willing to take initiative to help solve issues and complete job tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to permit effective interaction with all levels of Dana internal and external customers.
- Ability to travel and/or relocate for summer 2024 to Program Management job site.
- Previous co-op within automotive industry or Dana is a plus.
