Position: Restaurant Event Administrative Assistant
FLSA Classification: Hourly Employee, Non-Exempt
We are looking for an energetic, customer -focused, detail-oriented events Administrative Assistant to work with a James Beard award winning restaurant and events group. Essential Function:
- Field all incoming calls, including, but not limited to, the mentioned events below and also make sure of appropriate follow up.
- Answer all calls within the same business day
- Maintain accurate details from all calls to ensure guest files are notated correctly
- Liaison between the guests and other onsite staff to ensure outstanding customer service and genuine hospitality standards and procedures.
- Focus on follow up to prospective clients that have been reached out to by the sales team.
- Coordinate site-visit calendar & actively conduct site-visits with clients.
- Maintain current prix fixe menus for all stores.
- Correspond with guests to filter inquiries to appropriate person
- Input information into events software & reservations software
- Create floor plans for events as needed.
- Follow up with clients after each booking to ensure satisfaction
- Communicate any areas of need, problems, and concerns from guest(s) to the Event Manager
- Assist with reservations tasks when needed
- Assist with securing any necessary rentals for events
- Complete administrative tasks as assigned by the Event Sales Manager
- Contribute to company social media, including but not limited to Instagram

Education and/or Experience:
- Have knowledge of service and food and beverage, preferably 1 + years of front-of-the-house operations and/or assistant management positions.
- Events planning/reservations experience a plus
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, speak and interpret documents in clear English.
- Bilingual a plus.
Computer Skills:
- Standard computer skills, including typing, required.
- Computer literate- Gmail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Indesign and/or Canva is a plus)
- Knowledge of Open Table and Tripleseat a plus.
