Role Scope & Requirements:
The Regional Director of Operations is a full-time position that works in coordination with the TOCA Leadership Team and reports directly to the Vice President of Operations. TOCA is an indoor soccer training center developed by a team of soccer professionals, where innovative and transformative products are combined with unique training techniques, to allow players to focus on precise execution from their first touch. TOCA is where players of all levels go to Find Their Best. We are looking for a Regional Director of Operations to join our team and expand our client base and achieve sales goals for specific regions of our company.
To be successful in this role, previous experience managing the operation of a store (or number of stores) while taking accountability for reaching targets is a must. This role should also be able to remotely and in the field supervise a team of facility leaders and set profitable goals. Our ideal candidates combine excellent communication skills with a strategic mindset. Ultimately, you will ensure your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run.
Job Functions:
- Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives
- Support Center Managers with day-to-day store operation
- Evaluate store and individual performances
- Report on regional sales results
- Forecast quarterly and annual profits
- Identify hiring needs, select and train new salespeople
- Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility
- Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
- Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
- Participate in decisions for expansion or acquisition
- Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience Fit:
- Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager or similar senior sales role
- Passionate about developing leaders built on strong, trusting relationships
- Experience leading in a multi-site and multi-sport business model
- Trusted relationships in the regional sports community, ideally in soccer and baseball
- Strong track record of building strong, trusting relationships and developing talent
- Knowledge in Profit and Loss statements and the ability to interpret data and trends to reach goals
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field is preferred
