Human Resources is looking to add to add a Recruiting Coordinator (Administrative Assistant) to the team! This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in beginning a career in Recruitment or Human Resources, part-time college students, or even a semi-retired professional looking for a little extra work.
No experience in human resources is required. This is a great position for anyone with training or experience with project management, time management, scheduling, record-keeping, customer service, or event coordination, in any field, industry as a paid employee or unpaid volunteer. This position offers flexible scheduling options for people juggling other commitments such as another part-time job, childcare, or school.
Hours and Duration: This is an hourly, part time variable position with no benefits. Hours will be an average of 20 hours per week. You may occasionally be asked to work additional hours with advanced notice. Schedule will be some variation within Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm. This position is limited to 1,040 hours per calendar year, with a current anticipated duration through December 31, 2024. Potential to extend into the 2025 year will be re-evaluated in Quarter 4. Position will start as soon as possible.
Location: This position will report in person to Redmond City Hall and may adjust to a hybrid schedule with the option of up to two days telecommuting.

About the Job:
Under the direction of the Talent Consultant, this position will perform the following Recruitment support functions:
  • Maintain the recruitment and onboarding calendar, with a heavy focus on scheduling interviews for various interview panels.
  • Prepare interview packet materials for hiring managers and maintain recruitment consensus documents.
  • Maintain the Application Tracking System (ATS-NEOGOV) by performing data entry, high volume scheduling, candidate communication, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Perform onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure a smooth hiring experience.
  • Serve as a customer service representative for Human Resources Department, including responding to phone calls, email questions, and greeting visitors when working in the office.
  • Provide information to citizens, job applicants, and employees.
  • Use of Sharepoint for electronic filing and records organization.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned and perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
Any combination equivalent to high school diploma and two (2) years of progressively responsible administrative experience.
Candidates with at least (5) years of administration assistance experience plus (2) years of college course work may qualify for a higher classification and a salary increase of up to $2/hour over published range.

BENEFITS
The City provides paid sick leave accruing at the rate of one hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked as a supplemental employee.
