We are seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to support our busy, friendly, small Trusts and Estates law firm as Receptionist / Secretary / Administrative Assistant. The person in this role will greet and attend to our clients with care both by telephone and in person, will provide conscientious administrative and secretarial support to our attorneys and paralegals, and will assist with all other tasks that promote the smooth operation of our office.
NOTE: THIS POSITION REQUIRES STRONG WORD PROCESSING SKILLS. WE WILL ONLY CONSIDER CANDIDATES WITH RESUMES THAT REFLECT APTITUDE WITH MICROSOFT WORD and ADOBE.
- Edit documents quickly and accurately utilizing Word / WordPerfect / Adobe
- Review and proofread documents for accuracy and completeness
- Open and close files paper client files
- Maintain document filing systems
- Schedule appointments for attorneys
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and log received overnight mail packages
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Word Perfect, Adobe
- Knowledge of basic office machinery (copier, scanner, fax, postage meter)
Prior Experience: 1-2 years secretarial / administrative experience

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
