Due to a retirement, we are seeking a full time Administrative Assistant. This position provides a variety of services to the management team/Committees and our Sisters. This includes taking meeting minutes, typing, formatting and proofreading various materials; drafting correspondence and maintaining files; maintaining form files and the office inventory according to the budget.
The Administrative Assistant will be expected to prepare presentation materials for various projects using office applications such as Publisher, Excel and Word.
This position must be able to operate copiers, faxes, scanners, computers, postage meters and other office equipment. This position will call for repair of said equipment if needed and ensure that the repair person is directed to the proper equipment.
This individual will oversee Campus Hospitality in the absence of the Coordinator and will maintain/distribute the room roster and may participate in the planning of Campus events.
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for routing the facility mail both incoming and outgoing including FedEx and ensuring that coverage for the front office receptionist is in place. The Assistant may welcome visitors. It may be necessary to make travel arrangements for some Managers. Additional tasks and/or activities may present themselves.
The Administrative Assistant must be skilled in Word, Publisher and Excel. Excellent communication skills are essential. The ability to react to change proactively is important.
This position will participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
This individual must ensure maintain professional discretion, strict confidentiality and prudent speech concerning all aspects of the position.
