This office administrator covers virtually everything in this office and outside of the office. You should have a more robust skill set and be able to take on extra responsibilities much more easily. An administrator is often thought of as the heart of any office environment. You will be the liason between the executive director, HR Coordinator, and staff members, parents, and vendors. You will be required to learn current operational procedures and implement new operating procedures. This role also includes:
managing telephones and taking messages
sending and receiving emails and other forms of communicating
creating company documents
organizing schedules for staff members and chief executive officers
maintaining an efficient filing system for company records
attending meetings and taking notes (including dictation)
creating and ensuring policies and procedures are followed
being proficient in a number of computer programs and office management processes
This position is a hybrid in-person position. You will be required to work on-location, and at other locations other than the main summer camp office (i.e. Starbucks, other offices, at business meetings, New York City Boroughs, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, Connecticut, home office, etc...)
