COMPANY: Consultants In Neurology, Ltd is located in north suburbs of Chicago and has been in practice for over 50 years. We are a private practice caring for individuals with neurologic illnesses. We are also recognized by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as a Center of Excellence for Multiple Sclerosis Care. We conduct multiple clinical research studies with main focus on Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and Stroke.
PROSPECT and TRAINING: Additional on job training will be provided to gain skills and knowledge which will enable the individual to advance in the position.

Responsibilities and Duties
A successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills in the medical office setting, be attentive to detail in all patient transactions, medical record processing and telephone triage.
DUTIES:
Communication with patients (scheduling, rescheduling and confirming visits, taking messages for physicians)
Communication with other medical providers and medical vendors
Checking patients in (collecting copay, verifying insurance, updating patient demographics, processing intake forms) and checking patients out (processing MD orders and scheduling next visit)
Processing requests for prescriptions and medical documents
Qualifications and Skills
Medical office experience required.
