Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. The Legal Assistant will provide administrative support and assist with various legal tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, as well as a solid understanding of legal procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting legal documents, such as contracts and pleadings
- Maintain and organize legal files and documents
- Prepare correspondence, memos, and other legal documents
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings
- Coordinate with clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in legal matters
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing calendars, and handling correspondence
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
- Ability to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
