Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Southern Arizona (JFCS) is a nonprofit, non-sectarian behavioral health agency that provides specialized therapy, counseling, and social services to the greater Tucson community. POSITION SUMMARY
The Receptionist’s primary purpose is to welcome all visitors and callers and facilitate the client/guests connection with the appropriate staff team member.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Welcome and process all clients and visitors of JFCS
· Complete fee slips, as appropriate, for clients receiving clinical care
· Collect (if appropriate) and process co-pay/fee payments
· Contact staff team members to announce the arrival of their client/visitor
· Assist all departments as needed (copying, faxes, other administrative tasks)
· Ensure that there are sufficient copies of forms readily available (intake packets, welcome packets, etc.)
· Maintain office supply cabinet
· Turning on/off the alarm, turning on/off the lights, opening/closing blinds in lobby
· Maintain a clean and tidy lobby area
· Check general voicemail box and forward/respond to messages (throughout the day)
· Place daily calendars of scheduled meetings by the meeting rooms
· Turn off coffee maker and resupply lunchroom with utensils/supplies
· Maintain paper stock of copier
· Account for all staff members left in the building
· Stamp all mail and refill postage meter
· Understand and accept the philosophy and values of the agency
· Performs other duties as assigned by the COO
WORK HOURS, SCHEDULE & FLEXIBILITY
This position works weekdays between 8am and 8pm.

· Must be able to handle all facets of the business both standard and non-standard situations
REQUIREMENTS
· 1 + years of experience in similar role
· Knowledge of customer service principles
· Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
· Strict attention to detail, maintaining high level of accuracy
· Strong organizational and time management skills, able to meet deadlines
· Skilled in establishing and maintaining professional and effective relationships;
· Positive attitude, proactive mentality, responsive, and strong work ethic
