We are seeking a Front Office Receptionist to become a part of our team! We are looking to hire a Medical Receptionist with excellent organizational and inter-personal skills. Medical receptionists are expected to be compassionate and discrete with superb time management and record-keeping skills. Knowledge of e-clinical is a bonus, but not necessary. To ensure success, our Medical Receptionist should be confident, positive, and most importantly eager to learn. Top candidates will work comfortably under pressure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage logistics and last minute changes.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone.
- Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors, and patients.
- Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Schedule appointments between doctors and patients.
- Taking patient payments, and co-pays
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper verification and authorization.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare or other related fields
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Scheduling
- Customer focus-- always putting the patient first and being professional and courteous
