Agile Procurement Consultant

As a consulting professional with PM Solutions, you will be focused on a “top to bottom” procurement transformation program that is changing our clients’ organization, operating model, processes, policies, and systems. The program involves transforming the Data and Analytics centered around 2 work streams:

· Data Stream - started in January, a consultant is already working in this space

· Tech Stream – the focus of this role. This stream is the most impactful and there are multiple capabilities within the tech stream.

We are looking for a senior Scrum Master / Program Manager consultant to compliment the business program manager. This is a large initiative and there will be multiple agile initiatives within the tech stream.

The Senior Consultant will have at least 3 years’ experience serving as a Scrum Master, as well as strong Project Management experience preferably in a Procurement environment.

The expected duration of this program is for more than 2 years. This is a long-term remote engagement.

Required:

• PMP is required
• Minimum 3 years as a Scrum Master experienced with leading sprint ceremonies
• At least 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager leading complex, enterprise projects or programs, with preference given to those with Procurement system implementation experience.
• Experience with Waterfall and with Agile methodologies
• Strong experience with Project Financials is required as you will be working with the approved capital expenditures and will be required to establish a good financial plan along with tracking actual vs. projected costs.
• Team collaboration skills – able to recruit and influence a diverse, effective team in partnership with management to achieve project goals
• Communication skills – must be an effective communicator and be able to distill large amounts of technical detail into information summaries management can digest and take action/decisions
• Self motivated – able to initiate and drive project discussions and goals independently with minimal direction and limited management oversight
• Strong critical thinking skills – able to envision and articulate the big picture
• Ability to drive projects and to manage risk, resources, and stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a consistent commitment and ability to work with diverse work groups and individuals
• Experience working cross-functionally between teams to solve problems and implement solutions
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, Master Degree preferred.
• PMP certificate (PMI) or other Project Management Certification required
• Scrum Certification is required
