Position Summary
The Receptionist provides an initial point of contact for all visitors to Banner’s Brooklyn Park Operations Center. Responsibilities include greeting, checking-in, and directing visitors; assisting the leadership team in booking meetings, coordinating catering, and other needs; managing employee badges, and assisting in executing special events, among other duties.
This position reports to Operations Manager.
According to the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), this position is classified as:
- Non-Exempt
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing high quality support and a great customer experience by creating and nurturing relationships with visitors and employees
- Greeting, assisting, and directing all visitors
- Observing and monitoring unusual behavior and taking necessary action
- Responsible for first level safety
- Support Banner Leadership Team based at Brooklyn Park Operations center in coordinating travel arrangements, booking meetings, and other needs
- Assist Brooklyn Park Plant leadership with maintaining timecards and attendance records
- Create, print, and manage employee badges for building access
- Managing multiple priorities simultaneously including emails and responding to questions/requests
- Maintain inventory of office supplies
- Assist HR with planning and execution of special events
- Other duties as assigned

Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Post-secondary education preferred
- 2 or more years of experience in a customer service role
- Experience using basic office equipment in a professional setting (i.e. personal computers, multiple-line telephones, copy machines and fax machines)
- Intermediate knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs
Preferred
- Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System
